Change your From name

The From name is the name recipients see in their inbox, for example "Sales Department" instead of your personal name. By default it's your Google account name.

Change it

  1. In the Editor, open the From drop-down.
  2. Click Edit display name.
  3. Enter the name you want and save.

The address stays the same. Only the name changes. Emails with a changed From name always go out from Flashissue's servers, not your Gmail account, so they won't appear in your Gmail Sent folder. Tips

  • Use a name people will recognise, such as your organisation or "Name at Organisation".
  • Keep it the same from one email to the next so readers learn to trust it.
