Add images¶
Use an image block¶
- Click an image block at the bottom of the Editor.
- Click Add Image.
- Upload from your computer, or pick an image from another source such as a web search, an image URL or Google Drive.
- Hover over the image to edit it: crop it, resize it or rotate it.
Add an image inside a text block¶
Click in a text block where you want the image, click the image button in the toolbar, and choose your image.
Add an image with HTML¶
In a text block (not an image block), open the HTML source and paste:
<p><img alt="Description of image" src="https://example.com/your-image.jpg" style="width:540px;" /></p>
Replace the src link with your image's public URL. Images can be up to 540 pixels wide, so keep the proportions when you change the size. The image link must be public and point straight to the image file (ending in .jpg, .png and so on), not to a web page.
Troubleshooting¶
- The image button does nothing: your company's firewall may be blocking the image uploader. Ask your IT team to allow
static.filestackapi.com. - The image is upside down or sideways: hover over it, click Edit, choose Orientation and rotate it.
- Readers can't see images: many email apps hide images until the reader clicks "Display images". Flashissue can't control this. See Security & privacy.
