Security & privacy of your contacts

Your contacts are yours

Your contacts and mailing lists belong to you. Flashissue uses them only to send the emails you ask it to send. We never sell them or share them with anyone else. Contacts you pull in from Google Contacts are read through your Google account's permissions. See Sign in & Google permissions.

When you send to a list, each recipient gets their own copy, so nobody sees anyone else's address. See What recipients see.

If you share a list with your team, teammates can send to it, and only the owner controls sharing. See Share a mailing list.

Images and tracking

Many email apps hide images until the reader allows them. That's because spammers use images to check whether an address is real. Flashissue also uses images to count opens. Ask your readers to "always show images" from you, especially for internal or staff newsletters. Your emails will look as you designed them, and your open counts will be more accurate.
