Send a test email to yourself

Every account comes with a mailing list called Test send to self. Send your email to it first to see exactly how it looks in a real inbox before you send it more widely.

Test sends to this list don't use any email credits, so you can test as often as you like.

Steps

1. Create your email in the Editor.
2. In the recipient list drop-down, select Test send to self.
3. Send the email.
4. Check your inbox. Look at the layout, images and links, and click Reply to check your Reply-To address.

What to check

• Images load and links go to the right pages.
• The email isn't clipped by Gmail. See Keep emails from being clipped.
• Personalization fields show real names. See Personalize with first name.
• It reads well on your phone too.
