Double opt-in

When someone signs up through your sign-up form, Flashissue emails them a confirmation link. They're only added to your list after they click it. This proves they really asked to hear from you, and it keeps fake and mistyped addresses off your list.

  1. Go to Lists and open the list.
  2. Click Sign Up Forms.
  3. Click Add a Consent Statement.
  4. Write your consent text, and change the wording of the answer options if you need to.
  5. Click Save.

You can add as many statements as you need. They appear on both the hosted form and the HTML version, and Flashissue stores each subscriber's answers.

Note

Flashissue gives you the tools, but you're responsible for how you collect and use consent. Ask your own adviser if you're not sure what GDPR requires of you.
